Thankyou for visiting DomainingGuide.Info!
DomainingGuide.Info has been set up to help guide beginner domainers as they build their portfolios. I started domaining purely by accident about 8 months ago. I built a website as a hobby and wanted a domain name for it.
I tried the free ‘domain name’ providers (such as .co.nr), but found that they were pretty much rubbish. Firstly, website visitors don’t take a .co.nr domain seriously, and secondly, they limit you technically in what you can do.
I decided I needed a real domain name and set about trying to get one for free. I discovered NamePros.com and haven’t looked back. I now have 22 domain names, included 6 developed web sites, and I haven’t paid one single cent to buy them or host my domains.
Now, I don’t know everything about domaining, and this isn’t some get rich quick scheme (I really haven’t made much money from it to be honest). I just want to share with you how I did it, and how you can do it too. I made some mistakes along the way, and I’ll probably make many more, but hopefully you’ll be able to avoid making the same mistakes I did.
In addition to posting my own thoughts on domaining topics, and telling you about my mistakes, I’ll be looking to answer any questions you might have about domaining. So if you have any questions, make sure you send them through using the link in the menu.
Domaining can be a great hobby and can even make you money - So Goodluck!
